It’s September already! It is amazing how quickly the summer goes sometimes. The kids have returned to school. The weather is starting to change (although it never really got that hot). Our hockey staff has been in their offices working hard to get ready for training camp and our sales staff is feverishly selling tickets for the upcoming season.

Training camp starts in Nashville next week and before you know it the guys will be back here getting ready as well. I think it’s going to be an interesting season for the Predators. Having Steve Sullivan on the ice for an entire season should make for some entertaining hockey. It certainly helped to make the Predators better last year. I will be curious to see which of the guys that have played here over the last few years will make their team and if there will be any surprises like Joel Ward was last year.

How about the results of the first poll here on the milwaukeeadmirals.com? After a spirited contest that featured nearly 1,000 votes, Chris Mason edged Scottie Upshall and will have a bobblehead made of him for a giveaway currently scheduled for March 5. We’ll also be doing a bobblehead of Admirals Captain Nolan Yonkman this year. Be sure to check back here regularly for the latest promotional items and schedules.
