Opening Night is upon us. We have made it through an off-season that was both too short and too long at the same time. Optimism heading into this year is very high and the expectations are there as well.
I look forward to seeing this year’s edition of the Milwaukee Admirals. While our early season schedule will be challenging with 16 of the first 22 games on the road, I think our veteran squad will be successful thanks to the leadership of our coaches, Lane Lambert and Ian Herbers. We’ve had a good training camp and I think we have a good team.
After a six-game road trip to start the season, we will finally get home on Saturday, October 24 to take on the Manitoba Moose at the Bradley Center. It will be a special night and I hope that we’ll have a great crowd to welcome this year’s team to the home ice. Stay tuned here at milwaukeeadmirals.com for all of the latest news about Opening Night as well as the promotions and news about the Admirals.
Finally, if you aren’t coming to the game or the Admirals are on the road there are two ways you can catch the exciting action. You can listen live to Aaron Sims call of the action on WSSP (1250 AM) in Milwaukee or here on the site or you can watch the games on AHLLive.com or by clicking the “Watch Live” button here on the website.
It’s going to be a fun season. Let’s get it going!
