The first major snowstorm is wrapping up and southeastern Wisconsin now looks like a postcard. It has certainly jolted people into winter. We were getting spoiled with the 40-50 degree temperatures weren’t we? The wintry weather also makes a lot of people think about hockey season. We have had a very active week of ticket sales and I give the snow some of the credit for that.

It’s also very coincidental that this Friday night is out annual Beach Night. We’ve done this for each of the past few years and it has been a lot of fun. It’s my annual very, very cold walk to the Bradley Center in my swim trunks, flip flops and hockey jersey. It’s a great look! We also will have national recording artists , The Boat Drunks, joining us for really fun tropical rock music in the East Atrium before and after the game. The band has played all over the country and in the Caribbean and has been joined by members of Jimmy Buffett’s band on occasion which will be a lot of fun. So you can come out and see a great hockey game and warm up with fun music. Plus, you’ll leave with a We Energies Admirals Calendar for 2010.
