Ticket Price Decisions

March 15

Thank you to all who came out for the Foreigner show last weekend. They were tremendous! We hope that you had a good time.

We recently announced our ticket prices and sent out invoices to our season ticket holders for next year’s seats. As you probably have heard, we did some restructuring of our ticket prices and created a new ticket area. The decision to raise ticket prices is one which takes months to debate internally. We haven’t raised prices over the past several years with the only increase coming from the Bradley Center facility fee of $1 previously (going to be $1.35 in 2010-11). For next year, we increased our 244 front row seats by $2 to $23 and then we had a $1 bump for the Mid-Deck seats to $19 which is now goal line to goal line an increase of four sections.

Over the past several seasons we had a seating section called the Stern and Bow which pretty much covered the areas behind both goals. For the 10-11 season, we’ve separated the two and created a Stern section where we shoot twice which will be $1 increase to $17 and as well as a Bow section which will remain at $16 which will be behind the other goal. In an effort to continue to make Admirals tickets the most affordable experience for families, all kids tickets will stay at $11. A great part of being a season ticket holder is that you get a significant discount over the regular prices.

All of these prices changes have been done with the mindset to continue to offer the best possible entertainment to our fans. We’ve had a great year so far and our attendance has shown a solid uptick for the second straight year in a tough economy. We believe that Admirals hockey and entertainment have become a significant and relevant option for people looking to spend some discretionary income and we will continue to work hard each and every day to make this one of the best places in Milwaukee to have a night out for you, your family, your friends and your co-workers.

I’d also encourage you to check this website frequently over the next few weeks as the promotional schedule continues to evolve with the last eight home dates. We just added KC and the Sunshine Band for a fun show on April 9 and an appearance by Adrienne Curry (America’s first Top Model) and her husband Christopher Knight (AKA Peter Brady from the Brady Bunch) on March 31. There may be more so stay tuned.

Finally, we have some playoff-type hockey to play down the stretch here. There are only 14 games left in the regular season and we are in the mix for a playoff spot. 12 of the last 14 games are within our division so each game has incredible importance. We’d love to have you with us at the Bradley Center or watching on AHLLive.com or listening on WSSP (1250 AM) as we make our final push. It’s not only March madness for basketball but here for the Admirals as well.
