Milwaukee Admirals

What a Wild Ride

Well, it was quite a series wasn’t it? The Admirals series with the Wolves that ended last night will go down as one of the most unpredictable and remarkable in team history. As the underdog in the series, we weren’t expected to beat the Wolves yet we were able to take the series to the brink. We rallied. We battled. We did everything we could but fell two goals short of a huge upset.

I am very proud of the team that we had here this year. They showed great character through what were often challenging circumstances. Whether it was the merry-go-round of player movement or the exhausting schedule it was a fantastic effort to accomplish what the crew on the ice accomplished.

I also want to compliment our coaches, Lane Lambert and Ian Herbers, who did a phenomenal job of piecing things together this season. It’s not an easy task to develop players who are constantly being called up or sent down into a cohesive unit but they do a great job and we are very, very fortunate to have them.

I want to thank all of the members of our front office who work tirelessly to give you the best show in town. I am very fortunate to be surrounded by fantastically creative people who make it fun each and every day to work for the Admirals.

Finally, I want to thank our fans who make all we do possible. Without their support, we wouldn’t have a show to put on. Our crowds at our playoff games were nothing short of phenomenal. Even on the road they brought their enthusiasm and support. Believe me when I say that It does not go unnoticed. We hear and see you and we are grateful.

Well, it’s the off-season now. The work for next year’s team is already underway. It will be October before you know it and Admirals hockey will be back in full force. Stay tuned here at milwaukeeadmirals.com for all of the latest news about the team and events that we will be a part of over the summer.

Thanks again and GO ADMIRALS!
