Today is a very special day. It’s Veterans Day, a day where we sincerely and humbly say thank you to those who have sacrificed for all of us to have the freedoms we all enjoy as Americans.

I say thank you to my father, Ray, who served in the United States Army in the early 1960’s. I also say thank you to my father-in-law, Chris, who served in the Army in late 1960’s and my uncle, Bob, who was also a member of the Army in the ’60’s. I also today remember my grandfathers who were members of the armed forces as well.

I extend my appreciation to all of our season ticket holders, and there are many, who have nobly served our country in the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Marines and Air Force.

While today is Veterans Day and a day where we should say thanks, I encourage you to please always take the time when you see a man or woman in uniform to go out of your way to express your gratitude. It goes a long way and it is something I know they appreciate.
