We had a great time as a full organization at the Brewers home opener on Monday. Harris Turer, our owner, has taken us all to a game every year and it’s a great time to relax and bond as a group. The players and coaches mix with the staff and it is a lot of fun. Thanks to Harris for doing that again.

We have a lot of new faces in town wearing the Admirals jersey for the first time. Welcome to Austin Watson, Taylor Beck, Michael Latta, Cory Conacher, Chris Cahill, Jeff Foss and Dave Leaderer!

A point tonight vs the Grand Rapids Griffins earns the Admirals the Western Conference and West Division regular season titles. The Western Conference regular season champion gets the Bud Poile Trophy, named after the father of Nashville General Manager, David Poile. Bud Poile is a Hockey Hall of Famer, a Stanley Cup Winner and the former commissioner of the IHL. For winning the West Division, the Admirals would receive the John D. Chick Trophy. Chick was the President of the AHL from 1954-57. Let’s hope we can get it done tonight!

We have a big weekend planned as we head into Fan Appreciation games on Friday and Sunday. The first 4,444 fans at each game will get a commemorative Summerfest ticket good for the Opening Day of the Fest on Wednesday, June 29. We’ll also have a lot of great prizes to give away at each game to lucky fans.
