Seven years ago I had the privilege of meeting Mike Wojciechowski for the first time. It was April 14, 2005 and I was being named President of the Admirals as part of the ownership change to Harris Turer’s group.

The impact that Mike has had on me has been immeasurable. I have learned so much from him about the world of sponsorship and how to build long-lasting relationships with business partners. He is truly a legend in the field of sports marketing and I am grateful for this opportunity to be on the same team with him.

We are honoring Wojo on Friday night at the Admirals game for his first 30 years with the team. I say first 30 because he isn’t retiring and I expect him to be around for many more years to come.

I hope that you’ll be at the game on Friday to see our first intermission Salute to Wojo. He has been a phenomenal ambassador for Admirals hockey for many years and he has helped many of us to be “Livin’ the Dream”!
