We’ve made it to August already. Can’t believe it! The summer is flying by and I hope you are all having lots of fun.

We look forward to seeing you at the Wisconsin State Fair over the next 11 days. The Admirals have a huge presence at the Fair with a booth in the Expo Hall, a co-sponsorship with Saz’s (The Finest) of the Racing Pigs and Roscoe’s daily appearance in the Fair Parade. So, be sure to stop by and visit with us. We’d love to chat a little hockey with you.

The good people in the American Hockey League offices are feverishly working on this year’s schedule. It will be out this month…I promise! We do have five dates guaranteed to us that I am happy to share. They are:

Friday, October 19 – Opening Night

Friday, November 2 – WisPolitics.com Decision 2012 Night with 2,500 Mitt Romney Bobbleheads and 2,500 Barack Obama Bobbleheads courtesy of Robert Haack Jewelers. You will have the choice of which bobblehead you take which will our part of a very scientific poll prior to Election Day.

Friday, November 30

Friday, December 28 – Pat McCurdy will perform in the East Atrium.

Friday, January 25

So, we will have 33 more dates to add to those to make up our 2012-13 schedule. We look forward to sharing it with you as soon as possible.
