Hey Fans! Roscoe reporting! I have been having a blast this week at the State Fair and am excited about how many new faces I have been seeing! I have also had the chance to hang out with some other local mascots during the daily parade. I got to shoot some pucks at our inflatable net but it looks like I am a little rusty. With the season right around the corner, I need to get some practice in. In the meantime, I will be hanging out at the Admirals booth inside the Expo Center at the State Fair until Sunday. Fans have the opportunity to show off their hockey skills by shooting at the inflatable net as well as purchase merchandise. I will be handing out ticket vouchers for next season as part of our “Get Caught” campaign so make sure to wear your gear to the fair and “Get Caught.”

After the State Fair is over, I will be busy making Back to School appearances. My first stop will be UMO’s 11th Annual Back to School Fair on August 17th where I will be meeting and greeting kids while they eat food and swap summer stories while getting ready for the new school year. My next stop will be at the WAFS Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth on August 20th. I will be hanging out with the kids all day and participating in the fire truck parade. I might even show off my cooking skills during the cook out before heading to the carnival.

After all my fun in the sun, I am ready to hang out in the air conditioning to get a break from the heat. So I am headed over to the local pool to cool off with a swim. Until next week, GO ADMIRALS!!!!!!
