Hey Fans! Roscoe here! After a fun filled week of meeting new fans, watching the pig races and hanging out with other mascots during the daily parade at the Wisconsin State Fair, I am gearing up for some ‘Back to School’ fun. Thanks to all the fans who wore their Admirals gear to the fair and “got caught.” Now that the season is right around the corner, it is especially important to show your team pride!
This week I will be making my way around the Milwaukee area for some local events. My first stop is the National Night Out in Waukesha. The event starts at 6 p.m. on Tuesday night. Come hang out with me and crew as we learn how to fight crime in our friendly neighborhoods.
My next stop is the Walk and Run for Wishes that benefits the Make-a-Wish foundation. More than 2,000 people are expected to participate. I will be hanging out at the starting line greeting children and families and cheering them on before the race. The walk and run will take place at the Henry Maier Festival Grounds so come out and support a good cause with me!
My last stop will be the Back to School Fair in Brown Deer Village Park. I will be mingling with children and talking with them about the upcoming school year, which promises to be filled with excitement and learning.
Wow, this summer has flown by! It seems like just yesterday that I was cheering on the Admirals in the playoffs. After hanging out in this summer heat for a few months, I am ready for fall weather. But, I am off to Jellystone Park to do some camping with my mascot buddies. Unit next week, GO ADMIRALS!!!!!
