Milwaukee Admirals

A Weekend of Races!

October 12

Hey Fans, Roscoe here! I hope everyone had as great a weekend as I did visiting with fans and meeting new friends. On Friday I watched the game live on ahl.com against Peoria as the Ads took on the Rivermen down south. It was quite an exciting contest, going into sudden death overtime and a shootout! Even though the Admirals lost, the team never gave up and played hard until the end. Remember, it’s not always about winning or losing, but most important to be a team player and work hard to reach your goals! Let’s go Admirals!

On Saturday morning I had a very exciting time participating in not one but two races! My first race was the Run the Bay event in Whitefish Bay. It was great to see all of my wonderful fans out to support the Whitefish Bay’s Civic Foundation. I know all of the runners and families had a great time!

Even though I had a big lead on the competition, I had to break away and take off running toward my second race, the Briggs & Al’s Run & Walk for Children’s Hospital. I arrived at the starting line just in time for the race to start! It was fantastic to see all of the people there cheering on over 15,000 runners and walkers! The event had a wonderful turnout and everyone had fun singing and dancing together toward the finish line.

Even though Saturday’s races took a lot of my energy, I got up nice and early on Sunday morning! I headed out for the Wisconsin Wild Girls Hockey Day at the Rink in Brookfield to support all the young ladies interested in playing hockey this season! It was a fun filled afternoon of meeting new friends, taking pictures and helping get everyone into the hockey spirit. Good luck to the new recruits!

Well, that’s all for now, I’m off to take a nap after a long and eventful weekend! Until next time fans, Go Admirals!!!
