Hey fans, Roscoe here! After a long weekend of hard-hitting hockey action I’m ready for a few days of relaxation and rest! What a weekend for hockey fans as the Admirals played three games in four days!
After the team took home the win against Houston on Friday night we were all treated to an awesome concert by Blake Shelton as the team celebrated its annual FM106/Miller Lite Country Music Night at the Bradley Center! What a great show it was! I can’t wait for the next big concert, The Dropkick Murphys, on Feb. 27!
On Sunday afternoon the team returned to the ice against the Hamilton Bulldogs for the second time of the weekend. Everyone came out to support the team in hopes that the Ads would take home the W the second time around. Despite the team’s best efforts, we were sent to the dog house again, losing 3-2 to Hamilton. Even the team lost the team did a great job on the ice and did the best they could. We’ll get ‘em next time guys!
Another very special part of the game on Sunday came as we welcomed two members of the Miracle on Ice 1980 Olympic Hockey Team to the Bradley Center. It was such an honor to meet Bob Suter and Buzz Schneider! The coolest part of all was getting to see the Olympic gold medal, and boy was it heavy! I had a great time at the game and hope you all did too!
Well, I’m off to take a nap so that I am all rested up for the game on Tuesday night against the Texas Stars at 7 p.m. Come out and support your Milwaukee Admirals and look for me in the crowd! Until next time, Go Admirals!
Jannsen+Company will donate $1 for each save the Ads make this year.
