My Summer Adventures Continue!

July 16

Hey fans, Roscoe here! This past week was a lot of fun and I thought it was about time to let you all know about some more of the fun events that are coming up in the Milwaukee area! This summer has already been so much fun and it will only get better!

Don’t forget, on July 21st American Idol is coming to the Bradley Center in Milwaukee! I have been really practicing my singing and hopefully I will impress the judges once I get my chance to shine! For more information, go to http://www.americanidol.com/auditions/season_10/milwaukee/.

On July 24th, I will be attending the South Milwaukee Heritage Days Parade. As we all know, going to a parade is one of my favorite things to do and this one will be just as great as all the others I have attended this summer! Join us and celebrate the great history of South Milwaukee!

Also on July 24th, The Village at Manor Park’s Thriller at Miller IV is taking place. This event is being held at Helfaer Field which is in the parking lot outside of Miller Park. There will be a softball game between the Marquette University School of Dentistry and the Medical College of Wisconsin as well as student softball games. At 3:30 p.m., all of my mascot friends and I will be arriving and we will be greeting all the spectacular fans in attendance. At 4:45 p.m., I’m going to show off some of my power when I hit in the Mascot Home Run Hitting Derby! Come and watch! The support will really help! All proceeds from this event will benefit the Manor Park Foundation’s Senior Solutions Fund.

On July 25th, I will be attending St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Festival in Union Grove. I will be there to greet kids and all of my other friends who wish to have a fun time!

On July 26th, Downtown Employee Appreciation Week begins. I will be in attendance for the opening ceremony! There will be fun things to do and see all week including a scavenger hunt, office challenge games, beach volleyball, the “World’s Largest Coffee Break,” and Battle of the Bands! These are just a few of the exciting events that will be hosted by Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21. Come and have a great time!

These next few weeks really offer a variety of fun things to do and I’m excited to continue my awesome summer! I hope to see all of you at these spectacular events. Until next time, Go Admirals!
