Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed the holidays, I know I did! I have a feeling 2011 is going to be a great year, and I can’t wait to spend it with all the great Admirals fans.

On January 28 and 29, I was at the Bradley Center for the Milwaukee Admirals High School Hockey Showdown presented by the Bradley Corporation. It was great to see so many people support youth hockey! Congratulations to the tournament champions, the Marquette Hilltoppers on their 4-2 win over the University School of Milwaukee Wildcats.

This upcoming weekend is a busy one for me. The Inflatamaniacs will be here on January 8 and 9 to perform throughout the game. Also on January 8, every fan in attendance will receive a Milwaukee Admirals team photo and Chelsea Kane from Disney’s Jonas LA will be at the game to greet fans and sign autographs.

Make sure to bring your skates on Sunday for the Private Bank Family Skate. All fans are invited to take a lap around the ice after the game. The first 2,500 fans through the doors will receive a winter hat sponsored by Express Promotions. Two players will also be signing autographs in the Aurora Sports Medicine Institute Autograph Corner after the game.

I hope the New Year is treating you right and I see you at the Bradley Center sometime soon! The Admirals continue their four game home stand on Thursday, January 6 when they take on the Grand Rapids Griffins at 7 pm. They also play on Saturday, January 8 at 7 pm against the Toronto Marlies and Sunday, January 9 at 1 pm against the Hamilton Bulldogs. I hope to see you around the BC!
