Hey guys and gals! What have you been doing to beat the heat? I was keeping cool at Summerfest along with the Admirals Street Team. It was great to see so many Ads’ fans come out to see the Admirals Street Team and me at Summerfest this year!
I kicked off my Summerfest fun on June 27 at the ULINE Sports Zone. I had such a great time practicing my goalie skills while fans tried their best to score on me. My goaltending skills got better each of the five days I was there.
Summerfest means that Independence day is right around the corner! One of my favorite holidays is the Fourth of July and I was lucky enough to participate in 8 parades! How cool is that? The fun started on July 2 at the West Allis Fourth of July Parade. It was fun but definitely hot, so I had to rest up before the Fourth.
My Independence Day parade fun began in Wauwatosa. Then I headed to the parades in Humboldt Park, Glendale, Whitefish Bay, New Berlin, and Brown Deer. I ended the day in Hales Corners, I loved seeing all of you in your red, white and blue!
I ventured back to Summerfest on July 5 for Kids Day! I had such a fun time at Summerfest and was so happy it didn’t have to end there. I also got to go back with the Admirals Street Crew on July 8.
Now I’m looking forward to the upcoming events I have planned to attend!
I have a busy day on Saturday, July 14. I’ll be hopping around to six fun places all over Southeastern Wisconsin to hang with fans.
I’ll be up bright and early at Gathering On the Green at Mequon Rotary Park from 8am-9am.Come join me on the sidelines to cheer on those participating in the “Run the Green” 5k Run/Walk. Stay at Gathering On the Green and learn some cool jazz and hip-hop dances and listen to great music.
If you can’t make it to see me at Rotary Park, come join me at the Pettit National Ice Center for “A Taste of Hockey” from 9am-10am. Try on some hockey equipment and skate around with me to see what hockey is all about!
After “A Taste of Hockey” I’ll make my way to the MECA- Milwaukee Emergency Center for Animals fundraiser for police canine vests from 10am-11am. Their mission is to protect every police dog by providing them with a bullet proof vest. What a great cause! The Milwaukee Admirals Power Play Foundation has already purchased a vest, so I hope you come to support it as well! I can’t wait to see my furry canine friends.
Then I’m headed back downtown for Kid’s Day at Bastille Days. I’ll be hanging out at the Admirals Booth from 12pm-2pm and would love to see you all there! We have a lot of fun activities planned for everyone so come out and enjoy beautiful downtown Milwaukee!
My day will wind down at 2pm when I head to one of my favorite Summer events. The Village at Manor Park is hosting the “Day With the Brewers/The Thriller at Miller VI” at Helfaer Field. Events for the whole family are planned including tailgating, a softball showdown between the students of Marquette Dental School and the Medical College of Wisconsin, and a Mascot Home Run Derby. I hope I win the derby!
Last but certainly not least, I’ll make my way to the Racine Raiders minor league football game at Horlick Athletic Field. I always have a blast at these games because I’m guaranteed to see a great crowd, a lot of fans and a great game! Hope you come out!
