Hey fans!
This past Tuesday, July 17, I had the privilege to attend the Miracle League Donor Tailgate at John C. Cudahy YMCA/Miracle League Complex. I had a great time while supporting a great cause!
My schedule is winding down this week so I can prepare for my many appearances leading up to our much anticipated Wisconsin State Fair.
I’m taking it easy until Saturday, July 28, when I will be attending three awesome events. I’m lacing up my walking shoes to start the day off at the Liver Life Walk at Veteran’s Park on the Lakefront from 9-10am. Come join the volunteers, the staff, and me as we help move forward to a future free of liver disease. I’ll be on the sidelines cheering on the participants, so come join me or sign up and walk for a cause!
At 11am I’ll be in South Milwaukee at the South Milwaukee Heritage Days Parade. Head down to the parade for a day full of exciting activities and a marching band performance! Hope you all can make it out!
If you can’t make it to any of these events, you’ve got to check out the last event of the day, “Picnic in Paris”! This will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church in Union Grove. I’ll be making an appearance at 2pm to visit with friends and eat some delicious food! I’m even practicing a little French, au revoir!
On Sunday, July 29, come join me and several of my mascot friends for “Battle of the Mascots”! It’s a soccer game at 6:30pm at Germanfest! If you’re under 12, you get in for free! There’s even a Run/Walk, church service, and my personal favorite, the Dachshund Derby!
Do you like free food and fun activities? If you do, you should join me at the 6th Annual Downtown Employee Appreciation Week Kickoff at Red Arrow Memorial Park. The opening ceremony begins at 12pm on next Monday, July 30. The first 1,000 people in line will receive a yummy Cousin’s Sub and enter for a chance to win daily prizes!
I hope to see you all come out to these events, and stay tuned for my next blog which will include all of the State Fair fun I have planned!
