Admirals Front Office Named to Top Places to Work List
Aug 10, 2007
The Admirals were one of 13 firms with 100 of fewer employees that were selected to the prestigious list. A total of 32 businesses in the Greater Milwaukee area were picked for the honor, which is divided into three categories: small (1-100 employees), medium (101-1,000 employees), and large (1,001 or more employees).
“This is a phenomenal honor for our staff,” said Admirals President Jon Greenberg. “We feel that for our fans to enjoy themselves at our games, our employees must first enjoy themselves at work. By injecting enthusiasm, creativity, laughter and passion into our work we can provide a great starting point to building a top-notch fan experience for Admirals hockey at the Bradley Center.
The Admirals currently employee 13 full-time staff members who were responsible for filling out a questionnaire that was distributed by The Business Journal after being nominated. In order to be considered for the award, 85% of the company’s employees must fill out the 40-question survey to qualify as a finalist. The Admirals had a 100% return.
The Business Journal then selects the winners from the highest scores for each of the three company categories from this year’s list of 104 finalists. The winners and finalists are honored at an awards luncheon, held Friday at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center, hosted by The Business Journal.
The Admirals will open the 2007-08 season in Peoria on October 6th with the home opener slated for Friday, October 12th at 7:00 pm against the Quad City Flames at the Bradley Center. Season tickets and group tickets for the 07-08 campaign are now on sale, starting at just $135. For more information or to purchase season tickets fans can call the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550.
