Milwaukee, WI—Richard Stehlik notched a pair of goals to lead the Milwaukee Admirals to a 4-2 win over the Chicago Wolves on Saturday night at the Kern Center on the campus of the Milwaukee School of Engineering in their final exhibition contest before the regular season. The win was the Admirals second in three pre-season tilts.
The Wolves jumped out to a 1-0 advantage just 3:16 into the game, but Stehlik lit the lamp at 8:35 and 12:42 of the first to give the Admirals a 2-1 lead after one period of play.
Chicago would tie the game at two on when Colton Fretter scored the lone goal of the second stanza when he beat Milwaukee backstop Maxime Daigneault to the stick side at the 18:31 mark.
Kelsey Wilson got the game-winner for the Admirals a pretty pass from Cal O'Reilly on the far post and tapped it in for an easy goal. Antii Philstrom picked up an empty-netter to finish the scoring for Milwaukee.
Stehlik paced the Admirals offense with his two markers while, Wilson and Philstrom each notched a goal and an assist on the night. Daigneault and Dov Grumet-Morris combined to stop 21 of 23 Chicago shots.
