Five Game Win Streak Ends in Des Moines

The Milwaukee Admirals five game winning streak came to an end with a 1-0 loss at Iowa Tuesday night.
The lone goal of the game was scored at 4:16 of the third period when Janos Vas converted a Konstantin Pushkarev pass.
That goal ended a streak of 168:30 of shutout time by the Admirals.
Milwaukee outshot Iowa 12-6 in the first period. The Admirals had the lone power play chance in the first.
In the second, the Stars had two power play chances. The Admirals outshot Iowa 8-4 in that frame.
Pekka Rinne stopped 17 shots. Iowa’s Tobias Stephan stopped all 29 from Milwaukee.
The Admirals host Manitoba Friday night at 7 p.m.
