Nov 20, 2007
Milwaukee, WI—The Milwaukee Admirals and Milwaukee Brewers announced today a joint ticket package called the “Two-Man Advantage” that will offer fans the opportunity to catch the exciting action of both teams, all at one low price.
For just $32, fans get two (2) Stern & Bow tickets to one of two Brewers promotion nights at the Bradley Center for an Admirals home game and receive two (2) Terrace Reserved tickets to one of two select Milwaukee Brewers games at Miller Park during the 2008 season. The Admirals games fans can choose from are Admirals/Brewers Winter Cap Night on Saturday, January 12th at 7:30 pm or Admirals/Brewers Hat Day on Sunday March 30th at 4:00 pm. The Brewers dates available include Tuesday, April 8th at 7:05 pm vs. Cincinnati or Monday, April 21st at 7:05 vs. St. Louis.
To purchase the “Two-Man Advantage” fans should call the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550.
In addition to the ticket package, the Admirals will celebrate “Brewers’ Night” at the team’s game on January 12th against the Rockford IceHogs. For the contest the Ads will wear special jerseys reminiscent of the Brewers retro uniforms from the 1980s. The sweaters worn that night will be signed and auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the Admirals Power Play Foundation. A number of jerseys will also be signed by the entire Admirals team and will be auctioned off on brewers.com with the proceeds benefiting Brewers Charities. Also, the first 5,000 fans will receive a Brewers/Admirals winter hat and Brewers television announcer Bill Schroeder will be on hand to take part in a pre-game autograph session and participate in other game night promotions.
The Admirals and Brewers are in the third season of a corporate partnership that began in the 2005-06 campaign. The Admirals will continue to sport the “Ball and Glove” logo on its jerseys as the Brewers are the exclusive jersey sponsor of the team. Announcements during the game, dasherboard signage at the Bradley Center, radio spots during broadcasts and an in-game “Brewers Home Run Derby” promotion where fans can win Brewers prize packs are also a part of the partnership.
“The Admirals and Brewers are two clubs with close ties in Milwaukee,” said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers Executive Vice President-Business Operations. “We enjoy the relationship we have had with the Admirals and are excited to keep the relationship for the next two years and hopefully beyond.”
The ties between the two clubs include Milwaukee Brewers Chairman Mark Attanasio, Brewers Assistant General Manager Gord Ash and starting pitcher Ben Sheets being members of the Admirals ownership group. Admirals owner Harris Turer is a member of the Brewers Advisory Board while Admirals President Jon Greenberg is the former Media Relations Director of the Milwaukee Brewers.
“We are very pleased to extend this relationship with the Brewers through the 2008-09 season,” said Greenberg. “The Admirals and the Brewers have become strong partners over the past few years and we believe that there are many more great opportunities ahead for both franchises.”
The Admirals hit the ice Tuesday, November 20th against the Quad City Flames at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center.
