Admirals Sign Scatchard To PTO

Milwaukee, WI—Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today that the team has signed forward Dave Scatchard to a professional try-out contract (PTO) and released forward Travis Fuller from his PTO.
Scatchard brings a wealth of NHL experience to the Admirals, having skated in over 600 career games in nine seasons for the Vancouver Canucks, New York Islanders, Boston Bruins, and Phoenix Coyotes. He has picked up 125 goals and 138 assists for 263 points and 1017 penalty minutes in 635 total games. In addition, the Hinton, ALTA native has collected four points (2g-2a) in 17 Stanley Cup Playoff contests.
Originally Vancouver’s second pick in the 1994 NHL Draft, Scatchard has played in 80 games or more in a season four times, including three straight campaigns with the Islanders from 2000-2003. His most productive season, from a goal-scoring stand point came in 2002-03 when he potted 27 goals to go along with 18 assists for New York. He also totaled 45 points (21g-24a) during the 2000-01 season.
The 6’3”, 210-lbs center has one assist in three games during the 2007-08 season for the Hartford Wolfpack (AHL).
Scatchard will look to make his Admirals debut when the team takes the ice this Friday, November 16th at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center.
