Langfeld Returns to Milwaukee

Milwaukee, WI—Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the team has reassigned forward Josh Langfeld to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Langfeld posted 6:30 of ice time in the Predators 2-1 overtime loss to Detroit on Friday night, his first NHL post-season contest. The Fridley, MN has appeared in 143 NHL games with five teams, including two with Nashville earlier this season, posting 32 points (9g-23a) and 60 penalty minutes. He spent last season as a member of the Detroit Red Wings organization, splitting his time between Detroit and Grand Rapids (AHL).

Langfeld has appeared in 27 post-season games at the AHL level, including Game 1 of this year's Calder Cup series between Milwaukee and Chicago where he registered a hat trick and four points (3g-1a) in a 4-3 win at Chicago. The 6-3, 210-pound right wing registered 29 points (22g-7a) in 44 regular-season games with Milwaukee in 2007-08

The Admirals and Chicago Wolves take to the ice at the Bradley Center for games three and four of their West Division Semifinal series on Sunday, April 20th at 5:00 pm and on Wednesday, April 23rd at 7:00 pm.
