Niskala, Pihlstrom to play in the World Championships

Two Admirals are set to represent Finland in the World Championships. Defenseman Janne Niskala and forward Antti Pihlstrom were added to Team Finland's roster for the 2008 tournament, which starts later this week in Halifax and Quebec City, Canada.
Niskala and Pihlstrom bring the Predators organiztion's total up to seven players participating in this year's tournament, including now two prospects who have yet to make their NHL debut. A third prospect, Pihlstrom, spent the majority of the season in the AHL, but made his NHL debut with one game this season, his first season in North America.
All seven of the Preds participants are 26 years old or younger, including a pair of 21 year old forwards in Patric Hornqvist (Sweden) and Alexander Radulov (Russia).
The tournament will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia & Quebec City, Quebec from May 2 - 18. Rosters for the tournament will be officially submitted on Thursday, May 1, with games starting on Friday, May 2.
