Nashville, Tenn. – The 2008 Nashville Predators Training Camp will open with testing, physicals and photos on Friday, Sept. 19 at the Sommet Center, and the team’s first on-ice practice will be on Saturday, Sept. 20 at 9 a.m. at Centennial Sportsplex.

Training camp for the Predators’ 11th season will be conducted at both the Sommet Center and Centennial Sportsplex in Nashville from Sept. 19-Oct. 8. The 49 players in camp will be divided into two groups for the first five days of action (group rosters will be available at a later date), with a scrimmage session scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m.

All practices at the Sportsplex are free and open to the public with the exception of practices on Sunday, Sept. 21, Sunday, Sept. 28 and Sunday, Oct. 5. The Sportsplex will be closed to the public those three days.
