Santorelli Recalled by Predators

Milwaukee, WI—Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Mike Santorelli from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.
Santorelli was selected to play for Team Canada at the 2009 AHL All-Star Classic on Tuesday, his first career All-Star selection in his second professional season. The Vancouver, B.C., native currently leads Milwaukee, and is tied for second in the AHL with 41 points (13g-28a). A sixth-round choice (178th overall) of Nashville in 2004, Santorelli was selected as the CCM/AHL Player of the Month for December after notching 23 points (8g-15a) in 14 games, and helping the team to a record-tying 12 wins in the month. In his two seasons with the Ads, he has never missed a game, playing 115 straight in that span.
The Ads will look to break the franchise record with their 11th straight home win this Thursday, January 8th at 7:00 pm when they host the Toronto Marlies.
