Jan 18, 2009
Milwaukee, WI— Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that forwards Ryan Jones and Mike Santorelli have been reassigned to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. In addition, the Admirals have recalled goaltender Kyle Gajewski from the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL.
Jones has tallied eight points (4g-4a) in 21 games for the Predators on three separate recalls. The Chatham, ON native has 17 points (11g-6a) in 21 games with the Admirals. The promotion was the first of Santorelli’s career and he played six games with Nashville and did not record a point. Selected as an AHL All-Star, Santorelli is second on the Ads roster with 41 points on 13 goals and 28 assists.
Gajewski is recalled after netminder Mark Dekanich was injured in a collision during last night’s game in Iowa. A rookie out of London, ON, Gajewski has posted a 7-10-2 record with a 3.82 goals against average and a .874 save percentage for the Cyclones.
