Jones, Sulzer Recalled by Nashville

Milwaukee, WI--Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Ryan Jones and defenseman Alexander Sulzer from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Jones has eight points (4g-4a) in 21 games during three stints with Nashville this season. In 25 games with the Admirals, he has 22 points (13g-9a) and is tied for the team lead with three game-winning goals, including the game-winner last Saturday in Rockford. He has five points (2g-3a) in his last three AHL games.

Sulzer made his NHL debut during his first career recall on Jan. 15 at Montreal, becoming the first German-born player to suit up for the Predators. The 6-1, 196-pound blueliner ranks third among AHL defensemen in points (31), and tied for third in goals. He is also third on the Admirals in both points and assists (23), in addition to being second on the club in power-play points (15).

Following the AHL All-Star Break, the Admirals return to the ice on Friday, January 30th at 7:00 pm versus the Chicago Wolves. Any fan who brings in a used pair of eye glasses or hearing aid to the game will receive a buy-one-get-one-free ticket offer, courtesy of the Wisconsin Lion’s Clubs.
