Larson Promoted to Vice President

Milwaukee, WI–The Milwaukee Admirals have promoted Charlie Larson to Vice President of Communications it was announced today by team CEO and Governor, Harris Turer.

Larson, 31, just completed his ninth season with the Admirals and previously held the title of Senior Director of Communications for the team. His responsibilities include guiding the team’s media and community relations efforts and the maintaining the Admirals website.

“Charlie has been a tremendous asset to the Admirals since we came aboard in 2005,” said Turer. “His efforts to improve our relationships with the local, national and international media have helped the Admirals get back on the map. We want to recognize Charlie’s commitment to the Admirals with this promotion which is very well-deserved.”

Larson came to the Admirals after a stint with the Midwest League Champion Michigan Battle Cats in 2000. He began his Admirals career as a ticket sales account executive in the fall of 2000 and moved into the media relations area in 2003 as Director of Communications and Ticket Sales.

Larson is a 2000 graduate of Ripon (WI) College. He and his wife, Kersten, reside in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
