Admirals Honored by AHL

Milwaukee, WI–The Milwaukee Admirals were honored on Wednesday evening during the inaugural American Hockey League Awards Gala with the Western Conference Fan Experience Excellence Award for the 2008-09 season.
The event, which took place at the AHL's annual meeting of the Board of Governors in Hilton Head, South Carolina, paid tribute to great on and off-ice accomplishments from the recently concluded season. Team President Jon Greenberg accepted the award on the Admirals behalf.
"This is a great honor for our organization," said Greenberg. "To be recognized for the hard work of our staff to provide a fantastic entertainment experience is a real validation of our mission to give our fans 40 different shows."
During the presentation, AHL Vice President of Licensing and Corporate Sales Sean Lavoine highlighted the Admirals concert series, Uncle Ben's Human Hockey Puck and other promotions as part of an experience that asks "What are the going to do next?"
The Admirals have strived for years to give fans great entertainment that surrounds world class hockey.
