Admirals Get 10 from Nashville

Milwaukee, WI—Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has assigned 10 players to the Milwaukee Admirals.
Forwards Hugh Jessiman, Ryan Maki, Ian McKenzie and Mark Santorelli, defenseman Robert Dietrich and goaltenders Chet Pickard and Jeremy Smith were assigned to the Predators primary developmental affiliate, while defensemen Scott Ford, Mark Matheson and Russ Sinkewich were released from Professional Tryout Agreements, and will head to Milwaukee on minor league contracts.
The Admirals roster currently includes 22 players as the team kicks off their 2009 training camp on Wednesday, September 23 at 8:15 am at the Kern Center on the campus of the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
The Admirals will play two exhibitions games during camp, each of the games will be played versus the rival Chicago Wolves beginning with a 7:00 pm home game on Friday, September 25th at Wilson Park Ice Arena in Milwaukee. The two squads will complete the home-and-home set in Chicago on Saturday, September 26th at 7:00 pm at the Hoffman Estates Community Center and Ice Arena in Hoffman Estates, IL.
The Admirals will kick off the 2009-10 regular season on Saturday, October 3 in Chicago and have their home opener set for Saturday, October 24 against Manitoba at the Bradley Center.
