Oct 13, 2009

Milwaukee, WI— Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Triston Grant to the Admirals.

In his first NHL action since the 2006-07 season, Grant posted nine penalty minutes and averaged 7:14 of ice time in three contests with the Predators. The Neepawa, MB native scored a goal in the Ads opening night win in Chicago, his only action of the season with Milwaukee. Last year Grant posted three goals and eight assists for 11 points, and notched 153 penalty minutes in 55 games for the Admirals. The 6-1, 210-pound right wing also ranked third on the Admirals in plus/minus rating (+11) and was one of just four AHLers to post more than 150 penalty minutes and a plus/minus rating in double digits.

The Admirals are back in action on Wednesday, October 14 at 7:00 pm when they travel to Peoria to face the Rivermen. The Ads home opener is slated for October 24, at 7:00 pm versus the Manitoba Moose at the Bradley Center.
