Foreigner Comes Calling Saturday
Mar 11, 2010
Milwaukee, WI—The Milwaukee Admirals return to the ice on Saturday night at 7:30 pm when they host the Toronto Marlies at the Bradley Center, followed by a post-game concert with classic rock legend Foreigner, presented by Toyota and Lee Jeans. The concert is free to attend with a game ticket.
The first 3,000 fans to the game will also take home an Admirals t-shirt courtesy of Jockey.
There are still a limited number of on-ice passes available for the concert as well. These passes allow fans special access to the ice where they can watch the concert from directly in front of the stage. The on-ice passes are $20 each and must be purchased in addition to a regular game ticket.
More than 30 years after forming, Foreigner's music resonates across the globe and through generations thanks to an impressive run of 14 Top 20 hits and album sales exceeding 70 million. The group’s numerous hits include, “Cold as Ice,” “Juke Box Hero,” “Urgent,” and “Waiting for a Girl Like You," and “I Want to Know What Love Is,” which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1985.
In 2007, Foreigner electrified audiences with an acclaimed world tour celebrating the multiplatinum success of the group’s first 30 years. While the band was honoring its past achievements onstage, it was plotting Foreigner’s first album in more than 15 years, CAN’T SLOW DOWN, which was released last September.
