Nashville, TN–Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has acquired a conditional fifth-round pick in the 2011 Entry Draft in exchange for restricted free agent forward Mike Santorelli.

Santorelli has been one of the driving forces behind the Admirals offense in recent years, leading the team in scoring each of the last two seasons and totaling 171 points on 74 goals and 97 assists in 207 career regular season games with Milwaukee. The Vancouver, BC native played 32 games for the Predators over the last two seasons, picking up three points (2g-1a), including his first career NHL goal on October 28, 2009 against Minnesota.

Last season the Northern Michigan alum paced the Ads with 59 points (26g-33a), despite missing 23 games due to recall to Nashville. He was first or second on the Admirals roster in points, goals, assists, plus/minus (+17), power-play goals (6), and game-winning goals (5). He was also a perfect 4-for-4 in shootout attempts and chipped in seven points (3g-4a) in seven post-season games.

His most productive season with Milwaukee came in 2008-09 when he set career highs in goals (27), assists (43), points (70), and power-play goals (12) and led the team in playoff scoring as well with 11 points (6g-5a).
