Milwaukee, WI--Despite multiple-point nights for Chris Mueller (1g,1a) and Roman Josi (2a), the Milwaukee Admirals fell to the Peoria Rivermen 4-3 Sunday evening at the Bradley Center, snapping their six-game point streak.
Peoria was the only team to find the back of the net in the opening frame, converting twice on the power-play. Akim Aliu put the puck on net from the right dot to put Peoria up 1-0. Nathan Oystrick and Derek Nesbitt recorded assists on the tally.
At 16:15, T.J. Hensick gave the Rivermen a 2-0 lead. Graham Mink fired a wrister through heavy traffic that was stopped by Milwaukee goaltender Atte Engren who was unable to cover the puck. Hensick picked up the rebound and lit the lamp.

With Milwaukee on the two-man advantage, Mueller put the Admirals on board at 5:04 of the second period. Mark Santorelli passed the puck in front of the net from the bottom of the left circle to Mueller at the right post. Mueller tipped the puck backdoor on Allen to decrease the Admirals deficit to one goal. Josi also notched an assist on the tally.
Just 44 seconds into the third period, Gabriel Bourque tied the game at two. Ryan Thang passed the puck from the corner to Bourque who wrapped around the net and jammed the puck past Allen’s right leg. Mueller also notched an assist on the marker giving him his 13th multiple-point night of the season.
