Milwaukee, WI— Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has assigned forward Ryan Thang to the Milwaukee Admirals

Thang scored one goal on one shot and posted a +1 rating while appearing in three games with the Predators during the 2011 preseason. Last season the Edina, MN native led the team with a +17 rating and was the club’s leading rookie scorer, totaling 41 points on 14 goals and 27 assists while playing in 78 games. During the playoffs Thang led the Ads with eight assists and tied for the team lead with 13 points (5g-8a) in 13 contests.

Thang and the Admirals will open their 2011 Training Camp on Tuesday, September 27 with a 3:45 pm practice on Tuesday, September 27 at the Kern Center on the campus of the Milwaukee School of Engineering. The team will have a pair of pre-season games, including one at home on Friday, September 30 at 7:00 pm at the Kern Center, before opening the regular season on Saturday, October 8th in Peoria at the Rivermen.
