Milwaukee, WI--Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned goaltender Jeremy Smith to Milwaukee and recalled goalie Chet Pickad from the Admirals.

Smith is ranked second among American Hockey League goaltenders in wins (29), games played (53) and minutes (3096), in addition to having the league’s fifth-best goals-against average (2.25). The Dearborn, Mich., native has stopped 63-of-64 shots and recorded a shutout while starting two games during Milwaukee’s four-game winning streak.

Milwaukee continues its seven-game road trip with a trip to Rockford on Friday night. The next, and final, Admirals home game of the season is Sunday, Apr 15 as the Charlotte Checkers visit the Bradley Center at 3pm. It’s Fan Appreciation Day.
