Milwaukee, WI -- Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has signed forward Chris Mueller to a one-year, two-way contract.
Mueller tied for fifth in the American Hockey League in goals (32) in 2011-12, becoming the first Milwaukee Admiral since 2006-07 to score 30 goals in a season and just the third player to top that plateau since the Ads joined the AHL in 2001-02. The 5-11, 203-pound right wing also tied for first in the league in overtime goals (3) and tied for second in game-winning goals (8), in addition to pacing the Admirals in points (60). The West Seneca, N.Y., native also participated in his first AHL All-Star Classic in 2012.
Mueller also appeared in four games with the Predators in 2011-12, bringing his career NHL total to 19 games (0g-3a) – all with Nashville over the past two seasons.
