Milwaukee, WI—The Milwaukee Admirals set their 2012-13 promotional schedule today which features concerts, presidential bobbleheads, mustaches, skating gnomes, and many other giveaways and entertainment which have been the hallmarks of the team’s game presentation.

Highlighting this year’s promotional schedule is Wispolitics.com Decision 2012 on November 2nd where the Admirals will conduct a straw poll via bobblehead in anticipation of the 2012 Presidential Election, which will be held just four days later. The Ads will have 2,500 bobbleheads of both President Obama and Governor Romney, courtesy of Robert Haack Diamonds, and each fan upon entering will choose which bobblehead they would like. The first candidate to run out will be declared the winner!

In addition to the Presidential Bobbleheads, the Admirals will have at least two other bobblehead giveaways this season, starting with a bobblehead of Admirals mascot Roscoe for the first 5,000 fans on January 12th, courtesy of US Bank. The team will also honor center Chris Mueller with his own bobblehead on February 15th, sponsored by Lee Jeans. Last season, Mueller became just the third Admiral since the team joined the AHL in 2001 to top the 30-goal plateau. In addition to these bobbleheads, the first 2,500 fans will take home a garden gnome of the skating Admirals Logo on March 1st, courtesy of US Bank.

The Admirals Concert Series, another backbone of the promo schedule, has yet to be finalized. FM106/Coors Light Country Music Night is slated for Friday, January 25th after the Ads game with Oklahoma City. However the artist has yet to be determined. The remaining dates and artists will be announced shortly. All of the shows in the Admirals Concert series are free to attend with a game ticket.

The Ads are also featuring a number of new promotional giveaways this year, including mustaches in honor of Movember, a men’s health initiative, for the first 1,500 fans on November 30th, sponsored by Lucky Tiger men’s grooming products, Roscoe/Milwaukee Brewers Ornaments (2,500) on December 14th, Children’s Hospital blankets (1,500 kids 14 & under) on January 6th, , Rocky Rococo goaltender water bottles (1,500 kids 14 & under) on February 10th, and Independence First Activity Book (1,500 kids 14 & under) on March 3rd.

The team has brought back many of the popular promotional giveaways from previous seasons, such as Old Orchard Juice and Pick n’ Save Magnetic Schedules for all fans at the team’s home opener October 19th, Potawatomi Bingo Casino Schedule Pens (All Fans) on November 9th, We Energies Calendars (10,000) on December 21st, Potawatomi Bingo Casino Cowbells (5,000) on December 27th, Brewers/Admirals Cinch Sacks (2,500) on February 8th, Children’s Hospital Posters (3,000) on February 17th, Brewers Ticket Vouchers for all fans on March 22nd, Pepsi Mugs (5,000) on April 13th and Fan Appreciation Night with team pictures for all fans on April 19th.

In addition, Milwaukee favorite Pat McCurdy will entertain fans before and after the game on both December 28th and April 5th while team’s annual Tribute to Wrestling featuring former grappling superstars will be on Sunday, February 12th.

As the team does each year, the Admirals will have a number of promotions with a charitable angle to them, including the team’s annual Charity Game, which this season benefits Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. On Sunday, February 17th, all seats in the 400 level will be dramatically reduced and a portion of the proceeds from all tickets sales in both the 200- and 400-levels will be donated to Children’s Hospital.

The Admirals are also proud to offer all Veterans and active military personnel free tickets to the team’s game on Friday, November 9th in honor of Veterans Day and on December 14th the team will present the U.S. Cellular Teddy Bear Toss where fans are encouraged to bring new teddy bears to the game and then thrown them on the ice when the Admirals score their first goal. The bears are then picked up and donated to needy children.

Potawatomi Bingo Casino will also sponsor Chuck-a-Puck, where fans can purchase foam pucks at select games for $1 and then throw them onto the ice for a chance to win great prizes. The proceeds from Chuck-a-Puck go to the Milwaukee Admirals Power Play Foundation, which is the team’s charitable arm.

The Aurora Sports Medicine Institute Autograph Corner also returns for another year. At 20 different games during the season two Admirals players will sign autographs after the game in the Autograph Corner, which is located outside section 225.

The Admirals will continue to add other promotions, giveaways, and entertainment as the season continues. Check out www.milwaukeeadmirals.com for the latest information. As always, all promotions and entertainment are subject to change without notice.
