Ads Gearing Up for a Doubleheader
Dec 26, 2012
Milwaukee, WI– The Admirals are hoping to continue your holiday season with a double-header against the Peoria Rivermen this Thursday and Friday. Both games are set for 7pm faceoffs at the BMO Harris Bradley Center and have incredible promotional schedules in-store for the fans!
As part of our 35th Anniversary celebration, the Admirals will be wearing retro uniforms, inspired by the 1979/80 season, for both Thursday and Friday’s games. The “game-worn” retro jerseys will be auctioned off with the proceeds benefitting the Power Play Foundation. Fans can participate in the auction, on Thursday and Friday, by bidding in the West Atrium of the BMO-BC or by bidding online on our website. The bidding will end at the completion of the second intermission during Friday night’s game and online bidding will end Thursday at noon. Be sure to place your bids early and help contribute to a worthy cause.
Also making an appearance for both games this week will be world record juggler Albert Lucas! With the encouragement of his father, Lucas started juggling at the age of three and performing a year later in comedy clubs, small circuses and night clubs. He has spent several years performing in the “Around the World on Ice” show at Busch Gardens Theme Park. Albert has performed at both the NBA Finals and the NHL Stanley Cup Finals.
Got a fever – a fever for more cowbell? Us too! That’s why we are proud to announce this Thursday’s game will be Cowbell Night. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a cowbell courtesy of Potawatomi Bingo Casino. Get to the rink early and let out your inner Gene Frenkle during the game!
This Thursday’s game will also be a Wendy’s and The Private Bank Family night. A Wendy’s Family Day Package includes four tickets to the game and four combo meals at participating Wendy’s locations for just $50! The packages must be purchased before 3pm on Thursday afternoon at the Admirals office or by calling (414) 227-0550.
Friday night’s festivities will include music by Milwaukee's own Pat McCurdy! Located in the East Atrium, fans will be able to experience his musical genius before and after the game, as well as during intermissions! Be sure to stop by and enjoy some live music.
