Milwaukee, WI– This weekend starts the Admirals busiest part of the season as they play six home games in 10 days. With all the promotions scheduled for these games there will almost be as much action off the ice as there is on it. The excitement begins Friday the 8th at 7:00 pm against the Houston Aeros and Sunday the 10th at 3:00 pm against the Peoria Rivermen.
This Friday the first 2,500 fans receive a Brewers/Admirals cinch sack. To continue the Admirals/Brewers combination there is a 2-Man Advantage Ticket Package that can be purchased for this game. This ticket special includes a Stern & Bow ticket to an Admirals game and one Terrace Reserved ticket to one of three Brewers games at Miller Park during the 2013 season for only $19. These packages must be purchased before 5pm this Friday for that night’s game!
On Sunday, the Ads will face off against the Peoria Rivermen. Rocky Rococo is sponsoring a goaltender water bottle giveaway for the first 1,500 kids (14 & under).
Don’t worry adults we have you covered as well as we do our annual Salute to Wrestling presented by ICAT Logistics. Wrestling legends the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake and the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase will be participating on autograph signing and greeting fans during the game.
After the game fans have the opportunity to get an autograph from two Admirals thanks to Aurora Sports Medicine Institute Autograph Corner.
This Sunday’s game will be a Wendy’s and The Private Bank Family Day. A Wendy’s Family Day Package includes four tickets to the game and four combo meals at participating Wendy’s locations for just $50! The packages must be purchased before 3pm on Thursday afternoon at the Admirals office or by calling (414) 227-0550. After the game, all fans in attendance can participate in a post-game skate courtesy of The Private Bank.
The Ads will continue the home stand on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 12th, when they battle the Abbottsford Heat. There will be beads, a paczki eating contest, and much more!
After the game, two Ads players will be available in the Aurora Sports Medicine Institute Autograph Corner. This player fan interaction will also take place on Tuesday Feb. 12, Friday Feb. 15th and Sunday Feb. 17th. The players are yet to be determined.
On Feb. 15th, Donald Driver will be in attendance. The Green Bay Packers All-Time Leading Receiver, Super Bowl XLV Champion, and 2012 Dancing with the Stars Champion will be on hand for a ceremonial puck drop to start the game, he will be participating in an intermission activity, as well as being interviewed by Admirals public address announcer Matt Moore. There will not be a public autograph session.
The weekend triple header, Feb. 15-17, will feature special Admirals uniforms. The Ads will be wearing pink to support breast cancer awareness on Friday and Sunday’s contests. The unique jerseys will be auctioned off to the fans throughout the weekend festivities to benefit Lee National Denim Days.
The pink jersey auction will begin exclusively online on Monday Feb. 11th and the online bidding will conclude with the game on Saturday Feb. 16th. All fans in attendance, Friday Feb. 15 and Sunday Feb. 17, can participate in a silent auction in the west atrium of the BMO-BC. The bidding will officially end with five minutes remaining during the second intermission of Sunday’s game.
Fans also have the chance to win a pink jersey autographed by Donald Driver. Fans can enter to win the autographed jersey by purchasing raffle tickets for $10 in the west atrium. The winning raffle ticket will be announced Sunday. The winning entry will not win a chance to meet Donald Driver.
Also scheduled for that Friday is Chris Mueller bobblehead night. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a bobblehead of the Admirals forward courtesy of Lee Jeans. Be sure to hit the gates early to ensure you’ll receive your Mueller bobblehead.
Feb. 15th and 16th are Admirals Hat Trick Package games. The special ticket package includes two tickets to your choice of three premium games: Mar. 1st, Mar. 22nd, and Apr. 5th.
Saturday Feb. 16th, REO Speedwagon will be coming to town. The classic rock band will be holding a concert after the completion of the Admirals game against the Charlotte Checkers (7:30 pm). Exclusive on-ice passes for the concert will be available and cost $20. Tickets are becoming limited. Be sure to order your tickets fast.
Also available Feb. 16th, the first 3,500 fans in attendance will receive Goalie Glove Oven Mitts courtesy of Palermo’s Pizza.
Sunday Feb. 17th will feature the Milwaukee Admirals Charity Game benefiting Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Fans can purchase 400 level seats for $3 each, and $2 of each ticket will go directly to the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
The first 3,000 fans in attendance (14 & under) will receive Milwaukee Admirals Children’s Hospital posters.
