Made professional/AHL debut at Iowa on 10/16/05 in a 7-2 loss posting 25 saves on 32 shots. Played at Harvard University from 2001-2005 where he graduated with 13 school records, and an additional three ECAC Hockey League marks. He stands as Harvard's career record holder in games played (114) and started (112), minutes played (6,811), saves (3,081), save percentage (.924), and shutouts (11) He also owns the school record for single-season games started, games played, and minutes played - all set as a junior. His career save percentage (.924) ranks fifth in the NCAA annals. In addition, his 1.63 GAA ranks 14th all-time in the NCAA record book for a single season, and fourth in the ECACHL. In 2004-05 he set the record for single-season shutouts (6), GAA and save percentage and was named a Hobey Baker Finalist, Second Team AHCA All-America, Third Team CoSIDA Academic All-America, Second Team All-ECACHL and All-Ivy League.
