Bitetto Assigned to the Ads on Conditioning

Milwaukee, WI--Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile today announced that the club has recalled forward Harry Zolnierczyk from Milwaukee, removed defenseman Anthony Bitetto from Injured Reserve and sent him to the Admirals on a conditioning assignment.

In addition, the Ads have signed forward Shawn O’Donnell to a professional try-out contract (PTO).

Zolnierczyk has appeared in one game for the Predators this season, a 5-1 win against Pittsburgh on Oct. 22. He skated 7:50 and recorded one hit, one blocked shot and two penalty minutes in the victory. The 29-year-old has played in 24 games for Milwaukee this season and recorded 16 points (6g-10a). He is tied for the team lead in power-play goals with three.

Bitetto has appeared in four games for the Preds this season. He earned his first point of the season with an assist on Nov. 29 in a 5-3 victory at Colorado and has skated in two games with Milwaukee this year on an earlier conditioning assignment.

O’Donnell, who was in training camp with Milwaukee, has tallied six goals and eight assists in 17 games with Cincinnati of the ECHL. He played 29 games in the AHL with the Hartford WolfPack in 2015-16, registering a goal and an assist in 29 games.

Bitetto and O’Donnell will likely be in the Admirals line-up when they host the Rockford IceHogs Tuesday night at 7 pm at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
