Admirals Return Home Friday
Milwaukee, WI—Fresh off a four day break for the AHL All-Star Game, the Milwaukee Admirals return to the ice when they host future NHL Hall of Famer Chris Chelios and the Chicago Wolves on Friday, January 22 at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center in the fifth game of the Amtrak Rivalry Series between the two clubs.
The first 5,000 fans will take home a bobblehead of Admirals Captain Nolan Yonkman, courtesy of Potawatomi Bingo Casino. Yonkman is in his fourth year with the Admirals and the second as team captain. He is the first player since the Ads joined the AHL in 2001 to be selected as captain for two consecutive years. In his tenure in Milwaukee the Punnichy, SK native has played in 250 games and recorded 37 points (8g-29a) to go along with 393 career penalty minutes.
The Admirals will celebrate Roscoe’s birthday at the game with a birthday cake and special mascot games. In addition, many of Roscoe’s mascot friends, including Bernie Brewer and Victor E. Panther, will be in attendance and they will play a special game of broomball during the second intermission.
Friday’s game is also a Chipotle Fiesta Deck night where fans get a ticket to the game in section 221, a Chipotle Burrito Buck (good for a free burrito), and a kazoo for only $16.
Plus, because of high demand for tickets, the Admirals have opened up seats for purchase in the 400-level.
