Sissons, Moser Returned to Admirals
Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forwards Simon Moser and Colton Sissons to Milwaukee (AHL).
Moser made his NHL debut last night in St. Louis, playing 10:21. He is ranked second on the Admirals in assists, and is tied for fourth on the team in points (8g-17a-25pts) during his first North American professional season in 2013-14. The Bern, Switzerland native – who will represent his homeland in the 2014 Olympics later this month – spent the previous five full seasons with Langnau of the Swiss League, posting 110 points (56g-54a) and 179 penalty minutes in 232 games since making his league debut during the 2007-08 season.
Sissons has appeared in Nashville’s past three games, notching an assist in his first career game on Tuesday at Winnipeg. He is second on the Admirals in goals and points (16g-12a-28pts), in addition to being tied for second among all AHL skaters in game-winning goals (5) during his first professional season, and was one of three rookies named to the 2014 AHL All-Star Team earlier this month.
The Admirals return to action on Wednesday night when they play host to the Hamilton Bulldogs at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
