Grosenick is Back for 2019-20

Milwaukee, WI--Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Friday that the team has signed Brookfield native Troy Grosenick to a one-year two-way contract that will begin in 2019-20.

Grosenick is 14-12-3 in 31 games played for the Admirals this season, his first full season with the club. He currently sits sixth in the AHL in save percentage (.918), 11th in goals-against average (2.51) and 15th in minutes played (1,768:57). The 6-foot-1 goaltender represented the Admirals at the 2019 AHL All-Star Classic - his second appearance at the event - and is a veteran of 18 Calder Cup Playoff games, going 9-7 with two shutouts.

Never drafted, Grosenick is in his sixth professional season and has posted a 102-72-19 record in 206 AHL appearances to go along with a 2.58 goals-against average and 14 shutouts. He has played in two NHL games with the San Jose Sharks - stopping 55 of 58 shots faced - and pitched a shutout in his League debut on Nov. 16, 2014 at Carolina. Prior to turning pro, he spent three seasons at Union College and was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award in 2012 as he helped lead the Dutchmen to the Frozen Four for the first time in school history.

Grosenick and the Admirals continue their seven-game roadtrip in San Antonio tonight against the Rampage at 7:30 pm.
