Admirals to Throw Wild 80s Prom Night
Milwaukee, WI- Calling all bohunks, bettys, bimbettes, valley girls, geeks, zeeks, wastoids, and wannabes – anyone that recognizes at least one of these terms. The Milwaukee Admirals invite fans to join them on Wednesday, March 12 for their game against the Iowa Wild at the BMO Harris Bradley Center at 7:00 pm in a special 80’s-themed prom night.
The Admirals teamed up with Stephanie’s Prom Closet Resale Boutique in Cedarburg, Wisconsin to provide fans an ultimate 80s prom experience and to recognize a local business dedicated to a great cause. Together, Stephanie’s and the Admirals will donate formal wear and prom dresses to kids who may not have had the funds to attend prom otherwise. So, Admirals fans, come sporting a totally boss prom dress from any era on Wednesday and help kids attend prom one dress at a time.
Prom wear can be donated following the game and will go toward the “Portal Prom,” a dance thrown by Portal Inc. and Cedarburg High School for adults living with disabilities. With the donations provided by Admirals fans and Stephanie’s Prom Closet Resale Boutique, these adults can experience an unforgettable prom.
A rockin’ 80s prom wouldn’t be complete without a full house of, you guessed it – mullets! Fans best dressed for the prom or showing off the trendiest mullet can compete in a dance-off on the ice during the game’s second intermission. Courtesy of Broadway Limousine and Coach, the winner can choose from a Funjet Vacation Getaway OR a “Night on the Town.”
Don’t miss out on the pre-game fun, kicking off at 6:00 pm sharp with a concert by Music of Exciting Events. Flashback to the 80s and relive those prom memories in the East Atrium of the BMO Harris Bradley Center before the game.
Fans can order tickets by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or by logging on to the Admirals website at www.milwaukeeadmirals.com. Groups of ten or more receive a minimum of $2 off each ticket. For more information or to order group tickets fans should call (414) 227-0550.
