Dog Day with the Ads
The Admirals host their own version of March Madness with a full day of events planned for Sunday, March 30 when they take on the Grand Rapids Griffins at 5:00 pm at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
The fun begins at noon when doors open to the annual Battle of the Badges hockey game. For the sixth year straight, the Admirals are proud to invite local law enforcement and local firefighters out to the rink to play in a hockey game benefiting the Easter Seals Act for Autism. Fans can purchase tickets through the Admirals office or at the box office on the day of event. Tickets are just $19 for adults and $14 for kids 14 and under and are good for the Admirals game that follows. A portion of ticket sales ($5 per adult ticket and $3 per kid ticket) go toward battling autism.
The Admirals look to take down the division leaders, the Grand Rapids Griffins, after the Battle of the Badges game. The first 2,500 fans will receive North Shore Bank Admirals caps. Fans won’t want to miss the live auction of Admirals retro jerseys happening in the East Atrium. Bidding opens at Friday’s game and will conclude with five minutes left in the second intermission on Sunday.
Sunday is also the Admirals Purina Dog Day Afternoon. For only $2 fans can bring their furry friends with to the game. Adult tickets are still $19 for fans that did not attend the Battle of the Badges game. Dogs will not be allowed into the arena prior to the Admirals game for the Battle of the Badges game either.
In addition, the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha (HAWS) will be at the game on Sunday with adoptable pets. One dollar from each pet ticket sold on Sunday goes toward the non profit organization committed to assisting the 6,000 plus animals that come through its doors each year. Fans can head to the West Atrium for more information and to begin the process of adopting.
Following the game, the Ads will host their annual “Cut for a Cause” sponsored by Lucky Tiger. The Admirals will make a $50 donation to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation for any fan willing to have their head shaved on the ice after the game. Not only do fans get a free hair cut, but they can take home a free t-shirt (while supplies last) and a ticket voucher good for a game next Admirals season! Fans must call the Admirals office to pre-register by 5:00 pm on Friday, March 28.
