Samuel Girard Assigned to Admirals

Milwaukee, WI—Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile today announced that the club has assigned defenseman Samuel Girard to the Admirals.

Girard played 59 regular-season games for the Shawinigan Cataractes (QMJHL) this season and led the team in assists (66) while tying for the team lead in points (75). He led the club in points (9) and assists (8) in five playoff games. A native of Roberval, Quebec, Girard was Nashville’s second choice, 47th overall (second round) in the 2016 Entry Draft.

Girard will look to make his Admirals debut when the team hits the ice on Friday night at 7 pm against the Cleveland Monsters at 7 pm at Panther Arena.
