Gaudreau, Zolnierczyk Among Nine Recalled
Milwaukee, WI--Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Friday that the club has recalled forwards Frederick Gaudreau, Harry Zolnierczyk, Brandon Bollig, Tyler Gaudet and Emil Pettersson; defensemen Alexandre Carrier, Petter Granberg and Frederic Allard; and goaltender Troy Grosenick from the American Hockey League's Milwaukee Admirals.
All nine players recalled by Nashville recently completed their AHL season with the Admirals, who finished with a 38-33-4-2 record (82 points).
Gaudreau, who had three assists in 20 games with the Predators in 2017-18, tied for third on Milwaukee in scoring with 43 points (22g-21a) in 54 games; Zolnierczyk had 21 goals and 21 assists for 42 points - an AHL career high and fifth on the Admirals - in 73 games; Bollig was acquired by the Preds in February and played in 21 games for Milwaukee, posting four points (3g-1a) and 30 penalty minutes; Gaudet signed a one-year contract with Nashville on Monday after recording a career-high 28 points (13g-15a) in 69 AHL games with the Admirals and Tucson Roadrunners; and Pettersson led Milwaukee in scoring with 46 points (13g-33a) and represented the Admirals at the 2018 AHL All-Star Classic in his first professional season in North America.
Carrier completed his second professional season with the Admirals, recording four goals and 24 assists in 73 games; Granberg appeared in 76 games for the Admirals and had 14 points (3g-11a) to go along with a +7 rating; and Allard tied for the most goals (8) and the second-most points among Milwaukee blueliners with (24) in his first professional season.
Grosenick went 3-4-0 with a 2.75 goals-against average and .911 save percentage in seven starts with Milwaukee after being acquired by the Preds on Feb. 25.
